This my 27th year in this business - I initially started studying Myofascial Release back in the year 2000 with John Barnes in Sedona, AZ. I have since studied the topic with Tom Myers and Robert Schliep and The Ida Rolf Institute. Messrs Myers and Schliep are now bringing the study of Fascia into the Movement world I.e. releasing fascia through movement through Yoga and Dance. During Covid-19 I started studying Rolf Movement online with the Ida Rolf Institute and in 2023 - I visited the Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO to continue this Rolfing Journey, and I am very excited about this new addition for my work. outcomes.
For my clinical approach to pain managment - depending on the client - I “marry” the various modalities i.e. Orthopedic Massage, Myofascial Release and Yoga - Along with Rolfing and Rolf Movement to re-integrate the body. This is my own unique and multidiciplinary approach to my work - addressing chronic pain - be it from poor posture or sports injuries I am continuously studying and finding new ways to work with and observe my clients.
I’m also very good at K-Taping specific muscles for stability i.e. Pre-game or Pre-marathon -
